Immune + Tea
This is my favorite tea! I sip on it daily because it is delicious and contains simple ingredients that combine to create an immune system and good mood boost. You can adjust the ingredients to your personal taste. The combination is what makes this tea special. ENJOY!
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 inch cubed fresh ginger to taste (I use 4-5 cubes)
1/8 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon lemon Juice
1 teaspoon raw unfiltered honey
Boiling water
Method:
Add all ingredients in your favorite mug
Allow 5-7 minutes to steep.
Drink when temperature is perfect for you.
Tips for preparation:
Pre-cut the fresh ginger and freeze so that it is always fresh and ready to go.
Freeze lemon juice in a small ice cube tray and pop into tea cup when ready to drink.
Adjust the measurements of ingredients to your preference.
Mix well before drinking.
I drink with all ingredients in the mug. The ginger tends to stay on the bottom and the flavor gets stronger over time. You may choose to use a filter to remove all ginger pieces prior to drinking. The ginger pieces are for steeping only and are not intended to be eaten in this recipe.
