Our sessions are all about you! We'll discuss your health history, current challenges, and goals. Together, we'll create a customized plan that fits your lifestyle. Sessions are collaborative, supportive, and action-oriented.

4. How often will we meet?

Frequency of meetings depends on your needs and goals. Typically, we start with weekly sessions and adjust as you progress.

5. Can you work with my doctor?

Absolutely! I love collaborating with your healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to your health. Teamwork makes the dream work!

6. Do you offer group coaching or online courses?

Yes! In addition to one-on-one sessions, I offer group coaching and online courses. These are great for learning in a supportive community and gaining extra motivation.

7. What makes your coaching style unique?

9. What are your qualifications?

I am a functional medicine certified health coach with extensive experience helping people prevent chronic illnesses and live healthier lives. My approach is evidence-based and client-centered. I am a graduate of the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, which is the only health coaching program created in exclusive partnership with the Institute for Functional Medicine and uses positive psychology coaching techniques, functional medicine principles, nutrition and food plans, mind-body medicine, the psychology of eating, and other methods for helping clients achieve their goals. Although it is not a requirement, if you choose, I can coordinate with your physician as a part of your personal collaborative health care team. This is a distinctive feature of FM Health Coaching, providing you with your personal health care team to manage your health from diagnosis to results.

Why do I need a FM Certified Coach?

Most doctors, nurses, and physician assistants are trained in the “expert” model of care, in which they tell patients what to do and expect them to do it.   As humans, we often experience a gap between what we know we need to do and our ability to achieve lasting results. This is where a health coach is most valuable. Studies show that health coaches can help people avoid and manage chronic conditions, lose weight (and keep it off), increase movement and activity, and generally improve all aspects of their life.

Don’t be a statistic! Seven of ten deaths in the United States are caused by chronic disease. Chronic disease, decline, and disability are NOT signs of normal aging, but abnormal aging, and this is being driven by our modern diet and lifestyle habits, which impede the body’s ability to heal, repair, and renew itself.
